Perched atop a hilly roadside, this site is wrapped in gracious curved fieldstone walls, steps and landings giving a natural setting for the native plant material draping the transition area that sets off a specimen weeping cherry. The planting drifts stabilize the steep slopes and create a dramatic entrance with an abundant landing. Railings have been specially crafted with grace and simplicity. The rear garden also captures the slope as natural boulder steps, on center with the family room, which open up the upper lawn play area. Circulation flows between the great room addition and existing screen porch with an outdoor room of bluestone terrace awaiting a future dry stream river bed inlay.
