An Italianate Garden
This terraced garden sustains the native vegetation across the rear of the property in a transformed swale which inherently supplements the natural stream bed and woodland environment. The “terraced garden rooms” are stabilized with a carefully crafted plant palette coating the planted slopes with color. The center courtyard is highlighted with a beautiful fountain providing a soothing and cooling effect of the spacious courtyard. The limestone walls and steps are wide and inviting, posing opportune seating and eloquent transition spaces that leave the sensation of being on vacation in Tuscany.
