This back-of-house garden required many elements to be incorporated in a narrow space. The at-grade water feature, on-center with the house’s rear French doors are bookends to a cocktail terrace, adjacent to the larger main entertaining area in front of the fireplace. The grilling area is tucked in, with easy access from the kitchen.

The bubbling water feature creates a stunning visual and auditory ambience, setting the tone for entertaining and enjoying the space.

From the corner of the property the neighbors are welcome to enjoy the flower gardens.

Once a long driveway stretching through the entire depth of the property, this space was converted to an entrance to the cutting garden. By shortening the space, moving the driveway to the side street, and creating a new semi-circular, drop-off drive at the front of the property we were able to provide a cutting garden with dahlias, roses and many different cutting perennials and annuals.

The new circular driveway becomes a more inviting and convenient main entrance to the property.
