Perched atop a hilly roadside, this site is wrapped in gracious curved fieldstone walls, steps and landings, giving a natural setting for the native plant material. The draping drifts of nepeta, roses and pennisetum set off a specimen weeping cherry. A railing design was created to set off a dramatic entrance. The rear garden has natural stone steps on center with the family room, leading to the upper lawn. Circulation between the great room addition and screen porch were carefully considered in the design of the terrace.
